Just to let you know that the battery arrived mid-morning today and is on charge right now! A sticker on the battery indicates it was last voltage-checked in August. It is probably just as well to get the battery straight from the importers as my two previous experiences with the same battery show that the shelf life, without recharging, is not that great and the battery will not recover from a long period of neglect. The major advantage of the MG4A-BS for me is that it is small!
