I can only apologise for the delay in sending transponders. But three things that have affected everyone, but seem to have gone unnoticed is the pandemic that closed all factories worldwide, leading to a shortage of materials. Brexit and Overstreached couriers.
Brexit which has also affected customs clearance to the UK, worst affected is Holland, as the Dutch customs seem to be making it harder to deal with than any other country, where the transponders come from, which has affected getting transponders in a timely manner.
We only received a message from Mylaps yesterday that transponders are now being made to order, resulting in a 4 week delay.
PLEASE DO NOT ORDER A TRANSPONDER IF YOU EXPECT IT TO BE DELIVERED WITHIN ONE WEEK OF YOUR RACE
I would like to thank you for your patience but these issues are completely out of my control and doing our best with logistics and Mylaps to resolve.
